We like to win was launched on the first of February 2013. It is an online platform where people can participate to a game. A specific company can launch a ‘game’ on this website. First of all I will tell you something more about the participants. In the second part of this post I will tell something more about the participating companies.
First of all the participants have to fill in approximately three multiple-choice questions. These questions are about a specific company. Example ‘Sushi Point’ asks questions about ‘where they are located’, ‘what’s the cost price of a certain meal’, … You can find these answers at the bottom of the page or at the website of the specific company. Obvious you have to fill in a ‘tiebreaker’. The last step is inviting five unique Facebook friends. After that you will receive a ‘thank you mail’ for your participation.
Of course there is a lot more behind this website than just the games. For companies is this platform a new way of advertising. This way of advertising offers the companies a few advantages.
- People will remember a game longer than a classic advertise in a local magazine.
- Participants have to search the answers at your website. This means more visually for the company and it is an active way to promote your company.
- The game can be played by people who live in Ghent or by people who live in Brussels. The advertisement is not limited to a particular area.
- Also the amount of participants is unlimited. But in case of 100 people play your ‘game’ 600 people will have seen your company name and your advertisement. Because the advertisement will be send to the mailbox of the five unique Facebook friends of the participant.
- We like to win tries to increase the Facebook likes of the specific company.
- We like to win built also a databank. To this databank the specific company can also do a mailing. For example the company opens a new store, the company launch a new product,…
The company should also give away a prize. Sushi Points gives away one-year free sushi. Companies who have a less sexy product can give away a city trip or things like that. The minimal value of a prize has to be 600 euros at least.
